Janie Bryant, the beautiful and talented costume designer for AMC's Mad Men wears an Elizabeth Mason Couture gown to the 2011 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards at the NokiaTheatre on September 10 as a nominee for Outstanding Costumes For a Series.

This is a "One Of A Kind" cocktail dress with matching bolero jacket from Elizabeth Mason Couture. This dress is custom made from a 1940's dress kit/pattern, using a heavier weight tapestry fabric, fully lined, with a zipper up the back. The matching jacket is made of the same fabrics. The skirt is a full circle with a nylon net peeking out the bottom hem. While it may be a solid color, the intricacy of the textile is stunning!
